I received a copy of this book to review. What I really like about this book is the format. It has prompts that are there to get you thinking, to narrow your focus on your true goals. The first section guides you this process and gets you started on your way. The next section is set up in weekly format (52) asking what you accomplished, experiences you are grateful for etc. the last section looks back over the year to celebrate the goals you accomplished.I do believe this is a book I will use as I have several goals in mind for he next year. Actually the same goals I have had in the past years (minimizing my stuff) I just haven’t fully accomplished it. I believe this book will keep my mind focused on my goals as I will interact with it weekly. It keeps my goals in front of my face even when events pull me in another direction.
Guess what’s here?! My hard copy (I also received a sneak peek digital copy and began the process a month ago) and I’m legitimately excited to start this journal tonight. Everyone who knows me knows that I’m not all about this kind of stuff. However, this guided journal is different. It’s because a highly experienced therapist wrote this and her wisdom gained from her almost two decades of mental health work permeates each page. As a new mom, I struggle sometimes with the fresh anxieties that come along with being responsible for the new love of your life. I’m looking forward to this journal grounding me and helping me work toward a new goal. Because, This Year I Will.
This book helps to inspire e to have goals which I do it is just achieving them I have difficulty with but this book helps me stay focused. I like how it lets you break it down.
